Akim Bryant is a Senior Curator at Pandora, where he manages the company’s R&B offerings and creates new playlists and music stations. An alum of William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ, Akim has worked as a music programmer for reputable platforms such as Music Choice and BET Soul. His love of music, which stems from his childhood days listening to his mother’s R&B collection and Quiet Storm radio, continues to feed his passion for bringing audiences the best music possible.

When not curating music, Akim enjoys spending time with his many close friends, crafting poetry and occasionally attempting to cook his grandmother’s stewed chicken (“but hers is much better,” Akim admits). Akim lives in Brooklyn, NY, where he is currently working on his second novel and second in the Stuck Pages series, Stuck Pages Vol. 2: The Pleasure Principle.
