Republic of Pigtails

Rika Gunawan started Republic of Pigtails in 2012 as a collection of handmade hair accessories that are inspired by her daughter, her little friends and their mothers  who love to look chic and stylish. These hair accessories are made out of salvaged materials and each accessory is named after family members and friends who are a constant source of inspiration and support. This connection between her loved ones and the accessories that they inspire is a huge part of what makes Republic of Pigtails so special. Every collection has a signature piece and vintage feel that makes them even more unique.
