Crystal Jones, is a recent transplant to Jersey City.  Her education covers a wide range of disciplines gaining her BS in Political Science and a MBA in finance, she worked as an educational specialist and a business consultant.  As a former financial insurance trust fund consultant, she decided in her retirement to follow her passion for baking!  In the ‘90’s with a family member, they created Mariposa, Fine Cakes and Desserts, specializing in innovative wedding cakes and designs.  Since 2016, she started The Cake Pound, which has been at the forefront of presenting some of the most unique and delectable pound cakes!  Her pound cakes are original with that homemade small batch taste.  The Cake Pound showcases all-natural pound cakes for every taste and dietary need.    Her slogan is “The Best Pound Cakes Ever!”
